We can't wait to meet you!
Thinking about whether Guidepost is right for your family? We'd love to have you over to show you around, meet some of our wonderful campus staff, and observe the action in our Montessori classrooms.
Our intimate school community is dedicated to the principles of authentic, high-quality Montessori education. In our Montessori programs, we are proud to employ a constructivist educational method that speaks to both the heart and mind of a child.
Act now to secure your child's place in our school! With rolling admissions, we enroll new students year-round. Since some of our programs are currently waitlisting students, we encourage you to register and begin the process as soon as you're ready. Click below to get started!
Located in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago, Guidepost Montessori offers Montessori education for toddlers and kindergarten-aged children, with Spanish Immersion options available.
The Montessori method of education offers a knowledge-rich environment, through a child-led model. Children learn joyfully, through working with carefully sequenced, hands-on materials. Your child’s enthusiastic exploration naturally leads to a solid foundation and advanced academics.
Full language immersion is the best way to offer your child the well-studied “bilingual advantage.” Research shows that bilingual children demonstrate enhanced cognitive flexibility, a result of regularly stretching their language “muscles” in multiple ways. At our campus, we offer Spanish immersion opportunities for your child.
We believe that an important part of our role is to serve as a support system for your family. We try to be here when you need us, with late pick-up hours and minimal school closures. And because the Montessori approach works best when manifested in a community of like minds, we hold regular campus events and get-togethers.
Ryan with his son Kainoa (age 2), Guidepost Toddler student
My kids have developed into capable and compassionate people. The school feels like a community, a family…their guides know their individual tastes and attitudes and cater to that.
Kanwal with her daughter Aaira (age 5), Guidepost Children's House student
Aaira’s Guidepost Montessori school is a friendly and uplifting environment.I like the three-hour work cycle in Children’s House, and the flexible ‘extended day’ class schedule. For Aaira, that means lots of Montessori in a single day, every day!
