  • World Book Day Celebration: Free Book Exchange!

    • Friday April 23

    • All Day Event

    • Our Campus

In 1995 The United Nations proposed April 23rd as World Book Day: A day of celebrating the joy of reading for enjoyment. UNESCO decided that the World Book would be celebrated on April 23th as the date is also the anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes, William Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, among other prominent authors.

Here's how we will celebrate this World Book Day:
    1. Children will choose a good book they read and bring to school, to pass it onto someone.
    2. At our book exchange, children will choose a book they would like to read.
    3. On April 23rd, children who wish to participate will come to school dressed up as their favorite book character, and will share with their classmates a short passage of the book.

Thanks for signing up!
