We can't wait to meet you!
In order to follow social distancing guidelines, we are delighted to offer virtual program overviews and video calls during our normal business hours. The program overviews, conducted by our central team of program experts, give insight into the programs offered on our campus.
Our intimate school community is dedicated to the principles of authentic, high-quality Montessori education. In our Montessori program, we are proud to employ an educational method that speaks to both the heart and mind of a young child.
Act now to secure your child’s place in our school! With rolling admissions, we enroll new students year-round. Since some of our programs are currently waitlisting students, we encourage you to register and begin the process as soon as you're ready. Click below to get started!
Guidepost Montessori at Fairfax is a charming two-room schoolhouse located in a thriving neighborhood in Fairfax County, Virginia. We serve families with preschool/kindergarten-aged children, and we welcome your family to join our community.
The Montessori method of education offers a knowledge-rich environment, through a child-led model. Children learn joyfully, through working with carefully sequenced, hands-on materials. Your child’s enthusiastic exploration naturally leads to a solid foundation and advanced academics.
Guidepost families tend to be friendly and welcoming folks, eager to make connections and form strong bonds. We think the education of our students is stronger when we can serve as a hub for such relationships, and we do all we can to foster a strong community in our area, with plenty of fun events and opportunities to meet and mingle.
We believe that an important part of our role is to serve as a support system for your family. We try to be here when you need us, with late pick-up hours and minimal school closures. And because the Montessori approach works best when manifested in a community of like minds, we hold regular campus events and get-togethers.
Our intimate two-room schoolhouse serves preschool children from 3 to 6 years of age. Our authentic Montessori Children's House program fosters independence, nurturing each child's practical life skills, emotional and social development, and foundational knowledge. Our classrooms provide a knowledge-rich environment designed for child-led exploration.
