Learn About Guidepost
Our intimate school community is dedicated to the principles of authentic, high-quality Montessori education. In our Montessori programs, we are proud to employ a constructivist educational method that speaks to both the heart and mind of a child.
Act now to secure your child's place in our school! With rolling admissions, we enroll new students year-round. Since some of our programs are currently waitlisting students, we encourage you to register and begin the process as soon as you're ready. Click below to get started!
Our new, bilingual Montessori school will be opening in September of 2019 in Vienna, and will be our second European campus. We're excited to soon be able to welcome you to our newest elementary community!
The Montessori Approach
The Montessori method of education offers a knowledge-rich environment, through a child-led model. Children learn joyfully, through working with carefully-sequenced, hands-on materials. Your child’s enthusiastic exploration naturally leads to a solid foundation and advanced academics.
A Close-Knit Community
Guidepost families tend to be friendly and welcoming folks, eager to make connections and form strong bonds. We think the education of our students is stronger when we can serve as a hub for such relationships, and we do all we can to foster a strong community in our area, with plenty of fun events and opportunities to meet and mingle.
A Dependable Partner
We believe that an important part of our role is to serve as a support system for your family. We try to be here when you need us, with late pick-up hours and minimal school closures. And because the Montessori approach works best when manifested in a community of like minds, we hold regular campus events and get-togethers.

We love all the people, and the culture they are building, at Guidepost. The teachers are loving and empathetic…they are here when you need any tips!
Our elementary program is truly unique: a German and English bilingual mixed-aged Montessori community, with first through sixth graders learning alongside one another in a rich social environment. It exemplifies the Montessori approach of practiced autonomy and self-mastery; of highly individualized lessons and extended periods of concentrated work. Within that framework, we embed a sequence of classical academic content in the humanities and the sciences, which motivates student-led project-based learning (PBL).
