The Montessori approach works best when manifested in a whole community of like minds. We foster this community with regular school events and get-togethers.
Our process for helping toddlers develop independence in the bathroom
Saturday February 29
Guidepost Montessori at Cypress Creek
Please join us for a special parent event at Cypress Creek on Saturday, February 29th from 10:00 - 12:00.
We'll begin the morning with a toileting workshop from 10:00 - 11:30, geared towards parents of toddlers. You'll learn about the Montessori approach to working with toddlers, how we apply Montessori principles to our toilet learning process at school, and what you can do to support this process at home.
The workshop will be followed by an open house from 11:30 - 11:00 where you will be able to meet our staff, visit our classrooms, and ask questions about our Toddler program.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Babies in arms are welcome in the workshop; childcare for toddlers will be provided on the playground with Cypress Creek staff.
This event is open to the community - feel free to bring a friend who has questions about Montessori, toileting, or both!
Thanks for signing up!
We'll be in touch soon with more details.
