Our intimate school community is dedicated to the principles of authentic, high-quality Montessori education. In our Montessori program, we are proud to employ an educational method that speaks to both the heart and mind of a young child.
Act now to secure your child’s place in our school! With rolling admissions, we enroll new students year-round. Since some of our programs are currently waitlisting students, we encourage you to register and begin the process as soon as you're ready. Click below to get started!
Our Guidepost Montessori at Broadlands East location is a newly constructed school with space for your child to explore and grow in a beautifully prepared Montessori environment, with programs for infants and toddlers. We are so proud to be a part of the Ashburn community!
The Montessori method of education offers a knowledge-rich environment, through a child-led model. Children learn joyfully, through working with carefully sequenced, hands-on materials. Your child’s enthusiastic exploration naturally leads to a solid foundation and advanced academics.
Guidepost families tend to be friendly and welcoming folks, eager to make connections and form strong bonds. We think the education of our students is stronger when we can serve as a hub for such relationships, and we do all we can to foster a strong community in our area, with plenty of fun events and opportunities to meet and mingle.
We believe that an important part of our role is to serve as a support system for your family. We try to be here when you need us, with late pick-up hours and minimal school closures. And because the Montessori approach works best when manifested in a community of like minds, we hold regular campus events and get-togethers.
Chris and Beth with their son Lucas (age 1), Guidepost Nido student
We love our Guidepost school and especially Lucas’s incredible Nido guides. They nurture our son’s cognitive, physical, and emotional growth every day, and we’re grateful to have them as a part of our proverbial village.
Ryan with his son Kainoa (age 2), Guidepost Toddler student
My kids have developed into capable and compassionate people. The school feels like a community, a family…their guides know their individual tastes and attitudes and cater to that.
Federica and Alessandro with their daughter Olivia (10 Months), Guidepost Nido student
We love the teachers at Guidepost! The administrators are organized and friendly, and the school provides daily tracking emails and frequent photos of Olivia working in the classroom.
Elizabeth with her daughter, Jane (age 2), Guidepost Toddler student
I love the staff. They treat everyone as family, and they love my daughter as if she was their own. She truly loves all the guides here.
Amanda with her daughter Isabella (age 3), Guidepost Children's House student, and son Jacob (6 months old), Nido student
I love the amazing staff, who help take care of the children as a community. The kids’ teachers treat each child as an individual and pay close attention to their needs and readiness for new materials and work.
Kristen and Mohammed with their son Aydin (age 2), Guidepost Toddler student
Everyone at Guidepost is there to help and foster the growth of our son. It’s an amazing family to be a part of…we can talk to them about anything and feel that our opinion is valued.
We serve children from 6 weeks old to age 3. Our Montessori classrooms foster independence, nurturing each child's practical life skills, emotional and social development, and foundational knowledge. Our classrooms provide a knowledge-rich environment designed for child-led exploration.
